Sophistikits dollhouses are sturdy
and durable because they are constructed from solid pine moldings,
3/8 " and 1/4" high quality, cabinet grade panels, and are
assembled using nails and glue. They are designed in 1"
to 1' scale, so most miniature furniture and accessories fit
perfectly.
Each Sophistikits dollhouse is now
available with your choice of exterior wall finish. Choose
either Smooth Plywood or Milled Plywood exterior walls. Our
exclusive milled finish has a 3/8" clapboard profile milled
directly into the surface of the walls. Milled walls provide
the easiest and quickest way to assemble a dollhouse with clapboard
siding because it's built-in and ready to paint. Smooth
Plywood kits that made Sophistikits dollhouses famous allow you to
create a custom exterior finish.
Once the basic kit is built, the
creative fun begins. Expand your home with the Sophistikits
conservatory, room addition or front porch.
If you purchased a
Smooth Plywood kit, you can finish the exterior with the custom
finish of your choice or our especially designed Siding
package. Each Siding pack features 1/8" thick, 1
1/2" tall, 3/8" Beaded Clapboard along with all the trim
boards you will need.

The
Montclair is one of the most classically beautiful dollhouse kits
available today. Its shuttered windows and gracious entry are
accented with bold mouldings and delicate trim. The steep angle of
the gable roof-along with the gable inset and oval window-adds a
distinctively dramatic touch to its timeless beauty.
The
spacious interior of the kit includes over 2,000 square inches of
floor space divided into 9 rooms, plus foyer and hall. The
first and second floors have 10" ceilings and beautifully
crafted staircases.
The
Montclair dollhouse comes complete with windows, shutters, exterior
doors and steps, decorative trims, moldings, interior staircases,
